I'm making some space available for you to advertise on this website itself if you wish to do so.
For charities and not-for-profits I will place your ads on the site free of charge where space is available.
To make an ad on the website as effective for you as possible, I will not run two ads for the same product or service on the same page of the website.
Advertising space is available for you on the home page of each edition of the Magazine (at this writing the East Grinstead edition and Horley edition), For these specific pages the following policy applies:
I will not place an ad in the magazine that promotes the same product or service of an ad running on the web page. And, vice-versa, I will not place an ad on the web page that clashes with a paid ad running in the magazine. The only exception to this rule would be if you wish to place a paid ad for your product or service in both the magazine and on the web page - subject of course to availability.
For all other pages of the website, including the home page, the ads run on the website will not be governed by what paid ads are running in the magazine. So, for example, I will accept an ad for a local shoe shop on the website even though there is an ad for another local shoe shop running in the magazine itself. For advertising purposes, the website and the magazine are treated as separate spaces. The only exceptions to this are, as described above, the homepage of the East Grinstead issue and the home page of the Horley issue.
The prices for paid ads (and please note that at this stage we do not charge VAT) on this website are as follows:
HOME PAGE
If you look at the home page you will see that there are two sizes of ad displayed and these are:
LARGE: £90 for one month; £250 for three months; £490 for six months
MEDIUM: £45 for one month; £125 for three months £245 for six months
A maximum of two large and eight medium ads will be permitted on this page at any one time.
HOME PAGE OF EACH EDITION (Currently HORLEY and EAST GRINSTEAD)
If you look at the ads running on these pages, you'll see that they are more or less one size (allowing for variations of shape to accommodate artwork):
MEDIUM BOX: £75 for one month, £210 for three months; £400 for six months
OTHER WEB PAGES (excludes the Directory)
MEDIUM BOX £40 for one month; £110 for three months; £200 for six months

TERMS
Payment in full needs to be made latest one week before publishing date. This is so that we have plenty of time to put the magazine together.
I can create your ad for you if you supply the details you want in it, then run it by you for your approval before publishing. There is usually no charge for the art work unless a large amount of work is involved but in such an instance I will advise you of any additional costs in advance so as to avoid springing on you any nasty surprises.
REFUND POLICY
You can cancel your advertising any time, and we will refund all or part of payment on the following basis:
- If we receive notice of cancellation 30 days before the publishing date, we will refund you, less £20 admin charge.
- For payments made for more than one month, we will refund you in full less the £20 admin charge if we get 30 days or more notice before the publishing date of your first entry; if less than 30 days’ notice, we will refund you for subsequent months in full (for example, if you pay for 3 months, give us 15 days’ notice before the publication of your first advertising, we will refund you in full for months 2 and 3, minus £20 admin charge)
- We cannot refund payment for advertisement if we receive less than 30 days’ notice, in the case of a one-month advertising.
